Apr.28 — Former Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Alan Blinder, who is now an economics professor at Princeton University and a visiting fellow at the Brookings Institution, discusses the central bank’s policy. Fed Chair Jerome Powell and his colleagues upgraded their assessment of the U.S. economy but said they were not yet ready to consider scaling back pandemic support.
