ADB President Says Gap on Vaccine Access Cramps Asia Rebound

Apr.29 — Asian Development Bank President Masatsugu Asakawa says a “huge gap” between demand and supply on vaccines is threatening the rebound across developing Asia. In an exclusive with Bloomberg’s Haslinda Amin, Asakawa also expressed concern about the accumulation of debt in the region, stemming from necessary stimulus to mitigate pandemic effects.
